Aymeric Menet, a rhythmologist and clinical cardiology researcher, began his work on cardiovascular complications of sickle cell disease in five sub-Saharan African countries, in conjunction with an INSERM unit at the Hôpital Européen Georges Pompidou.

He then defended a science thesis on the electrical desynchronization of cardiac walls. His current research focuses on electrical synchronization, with a particular interest in innovative physiological cardiac pacing techniques.

He also develops a research focus on atrial fibrillation, by utilizing national health databases. He is actively involved in the digital university project in cardiology (UNESS), which unites the cardiology community around the creation of national educational content.
